Happy 2020! We're kicking off the new year with a mini episode about Coachella. We're reviewing the 1999 line-up, which is about 35% recognizable in 2020 (do Carl Craig Innerzone Orchestra, the Angel aka 60 Channels, or Push Button Objects ring a bell?) and talking about who we'd see at this year's festival. Grab your floppy hat and sundress (but leave all the cultural appropriation behind) and join us!

Welcome to our last episode of the 2010s! We are breaking down our "Spotify Unwrapped" playlists and reviewing Pitchfork's "Best Albums of the 2010s." Margaux shares just how much she listened to Drake at one point, Emilie might be someone's parent with the amount of Fleetwood Mac she listened to, and together, we both became the biggest stans of Lizzo, Maggies Rogers, and Kacey Musgraves. Just a note that we had to record this remotely so apologies for sound issues. We'll be back in early 2020 with Season 3!

Emilie and Margaux return (with slightly better sound) with another not-so-mini episode. They get into the spirit of Christmas, as mandated by the Hallmark holiday movies they discuss, and they also touch on the recent controversy around the Hallmark channel, and their homophobia. Come away with us to Christmas towns that looks like a Homegoods aisle.

We're back, just in time for the holiday season! This week we're talking about Netflix holiday movies, specifically four that we watched and tried to describe to one another. Get ready for predictable plot points, unrealistic job titles, and happy endings where people maybe learn the true meaning of Christmas? FYI we had some audio issues in this episode, so thanks for bearing with us!

We're wrapping up our (OMG) second season with a salute to the 2010s by breaking down our favorites, honorable mentions, and "how the hell did they forget this" picks from Pitchfork's 200 Best Songs of the 2010s. Are there too many EDM tracks on their list? Of course. Did we each include another Kacey Musgraves song pick on our lists in addition to Pitchfork's inclusion? Duh. Was a single Britney Spears song on this list? No, and Pitchfork is crazy. We'll be back with full episodes in early 2020 but we'll be releasing some great mini episodes leading up to Season 3, so until next time, byeeeee!

Happy Halloween! To celebrate the spookiest day of the year (and 3,000 downloads!) we have a chillingly long episode. Margaux and Emilie break down teen slashers flicks, Scream 2 and I Know What You Did Last Summer. Then we welcome friend of the pod and local horror movie buff, Alissa Sanchez, to talk about Michael Myers, scream queens, and Sleepaway Camp.

Grab your potions, hats, and broomsticks, this week marks part one of our VEERRRYYY SPOOOKYYYYY Halloween episodes! We talk about some of our favorite witch-centric movies from the late '90s and early '00s, including the Craft, Practical Magic, Halloweentown, and Twitches. Did we both want to be witches after watching these movies at various sleepovers? Hell yeah! (No pun intended. Okay, maybe.)

In the year 2019, one thing we can all agree on is that we're in a J.Lo-enneseance. But in this weeks episode, Emilie and Margaux get into Jennifer Lopez's RomCom career in the early 2000s. From The Wedding Planner to Gigli, but not Angel Eyes (sorry, Emilie).

It's time to turn on the blacklight and investigate the MTV dating reality shows of the 2000s! Margaux and Emilie reminisce about those barely 22-minute-long shows that had zero budget, production value, or cares. We discuss the real-life Tinder shows (DisMissed, Next), the borderline crime shows (Room Raiders, Taildaters)and the "parents just don't understand" shows (Date My Mom, Parental Control). Join us on this wild ride before you end up getting Nexted!

Are you dating an heir to an oil fortune? Have you ever starred in your own short lived reality TV show? Did you collaborate on an exclusive handbag line with Samantha Thavasa? You might be an It Girl. This week, Emilie and Margaux dissect the dubious honor given to 2000s It Girls: Tinsley Mortimer and Paris Hilton (celebutantes), Tara Reid and Shannon Elizabeth (hot girls), and Mischa Barton and Sienna Miller (brits).
